Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

After yesterday's wedding, today seemed a little lackluster. Please don't tell Max, Mitzi, and Chloe that I expressed that and especially so publicly.

I spent the afternoon working in our upstairs office, and the dogs absolutely love being in the room -- looking at the world outside. Well, okay Max loves it best. Chloe is anxious for anything to bark at, but Mitzi, she really can't be bothered with all the fuss, especially if she can lay on the soft chair cushion.

Now the dogs are all tucked into their night-time kennels. Mr. Fun has set all the manual clocks ahead by one hour and is now snoozing. The party across the street, with what seemed like every teeny-bopper in town, has finally quieted, so I think it's time for me to join the world of the snoozing.

Good night from Southern California.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun, and Chloe, Mitzi, and Max), aka Carol

P.S. We continue to be horrified by the news and photos that are pouring in regarding Japan's disaster. We have a good friend in northern California, in Crescent City, who owns a Surf Shop in the marina. He was wakened by a phone call yesterday morning at 4:00 notifying him that a tsunami was headed for Crescent City and would be arriving in about two hours. With the help of many friends, they were able to clear-out the shop of all inventory before it hit. The marina was destroyed. When we talked with our friend this morning, he had not yet been back to his store to see the damage.
