Fuzzy round the edges

Another sociable day, with friends down from Perth for a long lazy lunch. The kids, ranging from 6 to 15 all managed to play together well, while we got caught up a bit. Mr B made a delicious lamb tagine for the meat eaters, with home made cheesecake for pudding. Lots of interesting chat about protecting musicians ears in the orchestra (not something I've ever really thought about) and - for me and Mr T anyway - chat about cameras, computers and self-doubt.

The kids rounded things off with a paper aeroplane contest (though our kids cheated by having me make their planes), then our friends headed off north into the rain, and we began the slow slide into evening.

Our guests brought some beautiful flowers, and I had an idea to do something abstract to make a rose look like folds of silk. Hasn't quite happened that way owing to some technical flash issues... but it's ok. Still getting to grips with Lightroom...

EDIT: couple of backblips from other busy/lazy days if you want to click back.
