Sculpture in wax

In the past weeks I created an original model of wax. It's the first fase of preparation for a sculpture in bronze. Today and tomorrow are the days of the finishing touch. Tonight, on the academy, the canals will be fixed. Tomorrow I'll spend many an hour in the studio to make a mold to get a cast bronze sculpture in the end.

Today is the last time you can see the model as it is. I'll try to blip the last fase (with canals fixed) tomorrow.

The process by which a sculpture of bronze is cast from the original is mostly called in the Netherlands by the French expression 'Cire perdue'. In English it is called Lost-wax casting.
