This is Elizabeth House, unsurprisingly built in the 1960s.

In 2008 it received planning permission for demolition and redevelopment and would be ready for occupation in 2011...

Instead its slowly getting grubbier and reminding us of how much we miss Allens fried chicken, although I did think they catered to the aspirationally challenged with their strapline "All you ever wished for". The fried chicken shack under Elizabeth House was managed by the hairiest armed chap I have ever seen in my life, he honestly seemed to moult slightly and develop a thicker coat in the winter.
