Wind Power

When you drive past a wind farm its easy to forget just how HUGE they are.

If you look under this windmill you can see a tractor loading tonne bails and if you look closer still you can see a farmer on the top of the trailer. Now you have the context, look again at the size of the windmill !!.

I know windfarms are a love them or hate them thing but I have to come clean and say I like them. I think they are pretty, When they are too old to use they can be removed and will leave almost no trace that they were ever there and the best bit is that the field can still be used for farming so they have effectively no footprint.

It was a very misty day by the way so the picture colours are a bit neutral.
