OK I'm a geek! But I wanted to try out something similar to Lucian's entry and it struck me that the whole effect relies on physics, more to the point the interference of light thanks to the grooves of the CD. I didn't have much time and I was relying on a flash, which I don't think was the best light source to use, but hey, I've blipped again! I like the discipline this imposes on me.
