Dog Walkers In The Haar

Haar is the regular feature of life on the East Coast of Scotland. These dog owners would usually be framed against a backdrop of the recumbent majesty of our local volcanic plug (Arthurs Seat) and the Eastern slopes of the Athens of the North. Hidden in the sea mist to the right lie the glistening waters of the Firth of Forth, the natural watery divide between the Lothians and the uncharted mysteries of Fife.

However today we have haar. Grey, damp, dreary and clinging it seeps into the clothes, skin and thoughts those who pass through putting flesh on the bones of the concept of dreich.

Largely Grey
