Early Autumn Leaves

While on my run this morning I looked for signs of autumn, and finally, when almost at the end, I went past this tree which unlike its fellows (which look to my unbotanical eye to be the same species) shows a reasonable amount of colour change and lots of leaves have fallen. In Auckland we tend not to have abrupt changes of season, so I guess this is it.

May be more tomorrow morning, here in Melbourne where I have come for a meeting tomorrow. Too sleepy right now to think more.
