This One's For Marlies & The Anonymous Benefac

Marlies is the woman in the Bundesamt fuer Migration who rather wonderfully speeded up the processing of my application and that means I can start Schule on Monday.

The Anonymous Benefactor is someone who bought me a membership for Blip. This is very exciting as it means I can find out stuff like I use the word "hate" 100% less than the average Blipper (I suspect that I've just ruined that statistic) and I'm 99.6% likely to Blip today. That's a Jolly Nice Present and I'm awfully pleased. There's a beer in it definitely.

Today has been an exciting day. I enrolled in school and bought my schoolbook - I haven't been to anything like this in years (and no, I don't think the Updates to DB2 v8 counts). And I was phoned about a job - my new cv strikes for the first time - but alas, one of the things I'd have to be is Fluent in German and so that opportunity went by. But I'm encouraged - it doesn't take much to make me happy sometimes.

Today's Blip is from outside a house on the way to school. I like the buildings around these and I like the fact that this is so very different for the area.
