The banjo player.

Carrickfergus

I wish I was in Carrickfergus
Only for nights in Ballygrand
I would swim over the deepest ocean
Only for nights in Ballygrand
But the sea is wide and I cannot swim over
And neither have I the wings to fly
If I could find me a handy boatman

He plays every Sunday at the end of the East Pier in Dun Laoghaire. Marvellous musician. Depending on which way the wind is blowing you can hear the music half a mile down the pier. Plays mostly Irish traditional but does have play other tunes. One of my favourites is Paddy's Green Shamrock Shores, suitable for the day that in it.
