Well, thanks to the Forum I have found a new outlet for Blipportunities. I have now learnt that this telephone kiosk is a British Listed Building, (www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk,) and designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Built in cast iron with a domed roof, unperforated crowns to the top panels, and margin glazing to windows and door.

Well I never.

And there I was thinking we were just lucky to keep a nice old red telephone box in the village. But alas it does not accept coins; so in an emergency we do what?

Oh dear, I think I have joined the "much older and out of touch" generation. Ho hum.
