Chicken Lickin'

As I made my way up a rather long meandering steep driveway I wasn't prepared for two Hen's waiting on their mail at the front door. I must admit I was a bit later than usual and they did look a little fretful and forlorn not receiving mail at their usual time.
I explained profusely that due to unforeseen circumstances it couldn't be helped. I think they swallowed my excuse as they waved me off as I made my way to my next house.....Oh the joys of being a Postie !!.
