How Much?

We got this energy meter the other day, it shows how much electricity is being used in the house at any one time. Which is quite cool, it helps show the kids how much it costs to live!
It's quite amazing how much power is being consumed at any one time. Even when almost everything is off we're burning about 300watts (UK) of power, which I put down to the fridges and the Sky+ box which I think must be one of the most uneconomical items we have as it's hard drive sounds like its running even when it's off. I expect that's when it's downloading the Anytime content.
