Data Clouds, Mt Rushmore

This evening I visited Glasgow School of Art's Digital Design Studio where the Centre for Digital Documentation and Visualisation is - as a joint project with Historic Scotland - breaking new barriers in recording heritage sites. I was lucky enough to be in at the beginning of the Scottish Ten and I signed the agreement at Mount Rushmore which led to the scanning of that site, in collaboration with Cyark This is one of the images I was shown this evening - snapped by me from a giant screen on which so many fascinating images were projected or manipulated. And the medical work is equally fascinating - the skull was amazing!
