Pursuit Of Happyness

Hidden Mirror

There is a hidden mirror
in the water
reflecting all who look
inside something stolen
an item that i took

Below that glistening mirror
a key unlocks the door
and inside all of the darkness
is a room with an empty floor

A room with panels
such revealing people
who came and lost their way
and now they sit staring at you,
you listen to what they say

they tell riddles
of what they had to do
to take what has been stolen
all you need is the right clue
or else your stuck, a spell unbroken

You wander around
till you find a man
a man that is dressed in white
A full body portrait stares
and the man steps out
into the light

He tells you one more riddle
you walk through his portrait
and you end where you began

You look inside the water
and the man in white
is staring at you again

You look at your clothes
and they've turned to white
shock and awe
and your mind takes flight

The stolen item is you all along
but underneath your white clothing
you know you are
just another trapped in there living

Time like a drop of rain

You don't know what to think
you thought it would be gold
money, and fortunes untold
you close your eyes
and you feel the breeze and the cold

You look at the moon
in the glistening sky
and you say to yourself
Who am I?
