Well it would be wouldn't it.

Have been off the blip for the last couple of days, i have the pictures but just didn't really get around to posting or catching up with other people's blips, so that will be my job for the weekend.

Had a fog laden trip to Buxton on Wednesday which took 5 hours to do a sixty mile round trip, then had a Polish encounter in Scunthorpe on Thursday where i ended up meeting some really lovely people and came back home with a bottle of Polish Vodka as a gift.. how thoughtful.

So this is a Gull, (even i know that!!) .

Wheres the best place to take a picture of a gull then, is it skimming lazily over the waves on a coastal shoreline, is it on the windy seafront on one of our lovely English Riviera towns, or is it sitting on the rocky outcrops of lonely islands being battered by wind and spray??

No, you're all wrong, its in the car park of a mouldy old retail park in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, about as far away from the coast as you can get... there wasn't even a fishmongers having a sale,

There was however a fast food outlet and lots and lots of litter bins, and consequently lots and lots of discarded food and waste..

and incidently thats not a Gull, its a bloody thief is what it is,

after all. whos chip do you think its stolen anyway!!
