Diamonds in the rough

During my walk at lunch I spotted all these items under a rock. A diamond ring and large ruby? A collection of shinny items gathered by a squirrel possibly? No, it is the contents of a Geocache "why are we doing this." It seems like someone took the container these items are usually kept in.

There might be a ant/termite walking around also.
