Street

We went to Shinjuku for a look around today. The streets are quiet but not empty as some new reports are saying. It is quiet like the new year holidays, not like a zombie invasion. The bonus of all this though is that we had the choice of any restaurant for lunch because there were no queues. Tokyo should be like this all the time!

There is still a lot of worry over what will happen at the power station and the sensationalist news reports aren't helping. To counteract this we headed to the Magic Music Bar in Koenji. There's no TV in the bar so it was really good to be able to relax without the endless news reports and chill out to cool tunes. Almost had a moment when the owner of the bar told us his parents live in Fukushima, but he said they were okay.

I chose a color shot for today to show that it isn't all doom and gloom in Tokyo. People are out and the sun is shining.
