One Mile Stone Achieved

Saturday morning, me and Pieces of a Jigsaw Puzzle along with our team (Little Bllue and his friends visited a local thalassaemia centre)

It was hard to control emotions and facial expressions at the time when the doctor told us that these children know they will not live more that 20 to 30 years of their lives.

We talked to every child. Gave them some chocolates and the knitted toys. We met 13 children. Everyone had a different personality but one thing was common, not the disease but the hope and dreams to move on. A few of the children told us that they wanted to be engineers. One of them was being offered a scholarship too.

I came home then went to pick up the car from workshop. All the way I kept on thinking about life and its harsh realities. We were made by God and for God, and until one figures that out, life isn't going to make sense. Life is a series of problems: Either you are in one now, you're just coming out of one, or you're getting ready to go into another one. The reason for this is that God is more interested in our character than our comfort; God is more interested in making your life holy than He is in making your life happy.

When I reached home I turned on the TV and saw an exciting cricket match Pakistan Vs Australia. Australia has played their inning with a score of 176 for 9 wickets. Hopeful that Pakistan would win..:)

Now again I am amazed just a few minutes back I was depress and gloomy and now I am all excited.

As little blue just whispered into my ear " Life is all about dealing with good and bad at the same time"

Here in the picture meet Sarfraz (4 years) and Sundus (3 years) both are siblings who are suffering from thalassaemia.

I would like to thank Little Blue for being here with his team Pieces of Jigsaw Puzzle for all her efforts and support , Dr T for the idea and arragements, Karen for managing the knitting groups and all those who knitted these teddies.
