Scrawny Old Man

By richtoller

We skipped the light fandango

over various white shades of pale and pale shades of white to Ben Tirran. Beautiful snow for walking on - quite surprising to find such even snow on the plateau when it was very patchy on the slopes (somebody had been killed in an avalanche not far away though so we had thoughts for him). And the wind was cold.
Seven of us on this walk (but not Mrs RT was in Pitlochry at the Baptist ministers wives retreat - retreating from their husbands) from Glen Clova, up by Loch Brandy (mostly frozen), along the plateau and down by Loch Wharral (mostly frozen); then coffee and a muffin in the Clova Hotel.
Sun on Mount Keen, left background.

Pyrenees 9 here.
