Wot?!

Can't a boy eat his cheesy toast in peace without having a camera stuck in his face? It would appear not. Perhaps in a twist of karma, my Canon 17-85mm lens has started playing up - the diaphragm blades are sticking when the aperture is set above the largest setting. Apparently it's a common problem affecting the lens, but a costly one to fix. Might try and DIY-it - perhaps if I break the lens, mrs monochrome will let me buy that 5D mk II I've been after...
