RNLI Guernsey

Today, church for me was on the Guernsey RNLI Lifeboat. I was honoured to be able to say a few words and read scripture at the scattering of the ashes of a dearly loved and treasured man Wilf Savident. Wilf was a famous Guernsey Fisherman and Lifeboatman. The crew of the 'Spirit of Guernsey' were very generous in taking us out of St Peter Port Harbour and anti-clockwise around to Perelle Bay. It was here that Wilf did most of his fishing and so was a fitting place to scatter his ashes.
We then travelled back to St Peter Port continuing anti-clockwise going past Pleinmont, Petit Bot and Fermain Bay.
