The workshops

I woke up rather early.

Started the day by taking he morning shift and going to the local grocery store when it opened.

Meeting the speakers at the hotel lobby, escorting them to the taxi and driving myself into the conference venue.

I did not have much to do during the morning. The others were doing so extraordinary good work that I actually went to 'Kiltis' with Mike, Pierluigi and Jurgen to work. I finalized the presentation notes for my backup talk. Just in time to hear that there's no need to have it.

After having all the trouble, I thought for a second that 'Why?'

It went past rather soon.

In the afternoon I were listening to Mike's and Pierluigi's session for a while. Then I went back to the info desk to hang around. Doing something not so important. And doing something very important at the same time - being available if something happened.

Nothing happened - and I seized the day and made a phone calls to dear friend to tell how good I felt.

After all the workshops were ready we headed to Café Art together with the speakers and staff for a cup of best coffee in Finland. I had three cups - thanks Joona for the espresso macchiato and espresso - they were wonderful.

Mike urged me to 'do the thing' - to present the backup talk in a pecha kucha way to the speakers. I did my best and accomplished it in 15 minutes. There couldn't have been any crowd I'd rather had the talk presented.

We continued the evening to a lovely social at Restaurant Koulu. I headed home around 10pm - and to bed after 11pm.
