Flap, flap, glide

A glorious morning today, and a good walk round Wheata Wood, Prior Royd, Stanley Hill and to Birley Stone. The highlights were a couple of Red-legged Partridge - a species I hadn't seen in this area before - and singing Yellowhammer and Linnet. This Sparrowhawk was the most photogenic, however, as it soared above.
