Labor of Love

We are renovating an old unloved house. Amongst all the bad ideas that were done to the house, someone thought that when you have an original 1875 Mahogany staircase, the thing to do is paint it purple.

I kid you not.

It has taken a lot of time, but bit by bit the awful paint is almost gone.
