On the right track

I spent a happy afternoon watching this train shunting to and fro; it abandoned the other 99 cars across two roads, then with two men manually moving the points it arrived down a track I didn't realise was in use, collected a car from the mill, and then went back to retrieve the other wagons and free up the roads. (There are alternatives, luckily). At one point it crossed a road that has no gates or lights, so it went very sloly with the two men walking in front, throwing flares left and right. Who knew they did that? Not me.
