Rambling daily

walking on the run

We have the lowest tides in 20 years this week and Diarm and I were keen to walk on the shingle and sand spits normally covered by water. This was taken at last light when I managed to join him there after work. It's taken from a point far out where in warmer weather we would usually be in our boat. It's amazing how the shingle shifts through to season so the run marker bouys are repositioned annually.

Such a lovely end to the day...and my back is feeling better too :-)
