Cricket anyone?

I was supposed to be cricket training tonight. It was all booked, 7-9pm at the school sports hall. This was the third session we've booked - trying to get some practice in until we can start to venture outside in the long summer evenings.

So we turn up, make our way through the school corridor until we reach the sports hall, hoping the care taker had remembered to unlock the doors this time. You see, he has a track record - we call in or ring him and make a booking. He agrees to let us in, very simple procedure really.

Tonight he even let the school orchestra and the A-Level drama group inside as "I have to open up for the local cricket team tonight". Surely this time he hasn't forgot to unlock the door, not again. Unlock the drama hall, check. Unlock the main school entrance that leads to the sports hall, allowing the orchestra to get in, check. Just a few more little steps along the corridor to unlock the sports hall for the cricket team, NO!

My attention span has gone and so have I.

Still every cloud has a silver blip - just inside the main entrance is a wall covered in a series of clay tiles. The detail is really nice - most of it was obscured by some display showing you who some of the teachers and staff were and what they do. Probably just there to remind the staff who they are and what they should do - couldn't see the care takers picture though.
