Cherry Blossoms & Paris Roofs

A second-in-a row blip close to home: From our 4th floor apartment in Paris 13th, at 4:26 pm on a grey afternoon.

The cherry blossoms have exploded since we returned from Poland yesterday. This is only a portion of the panorama we enjoy--it is endlessly fascinating, as you can see in this broader blip, taken last year in dazzling sunshine.

This must be viewed large, to properly enjoy the details--especially the multitude of chimneys!

Paris's Chinatown begins around the furthest skyscrapers. We have a favorite restaurant there, but we're eating pasta at home tonight (in part still recovering from the exertions of our trip to Poland).
