Anticuts protests today. Still getting my head round events. The media is not helping one bit.

I took part with people under the UKuncut banner. The news seems determined to conflate our peaceful, mischievous targeting of tax-dodging companies with the violence meted out by other protestors. Not surprsing, I guess.

I want to emphasise, though: UKuncut is about peaceful civil disobedience and today was no different.

This shot is of comedian Josie Long who joined Mark Thomas and UKuncut mainstays Chris Coltrane and Jonnie Marbles to stage a comedy gig in Soho Square earlier.
