if only someone told me earlier
that plastic gold is actually mostly just plastic
and that no one really cares.

if someone told me earlier
that why the hard work (or lack thereof) is even worth it
is the good meal afterward, and the authority to tease my teammates
with less plastic around their necks

then I would have eaten comfortably.
