Pennants golf started today. Golf club Vs golf club. I have played for the Taieri intermediate team for the last few years. Chose to watch today, due to knee, will play next round.
This is Warren left, and Greg right. The day started fine, it began raining after about 7 holes then a southerly came in when they were seven holes to play. Torrential wind and rain. Greg lost his match, but Warren (never give up Warren) fought back from 5 holes down to half his match so the team won 3.5- 2.5. Hard to believe, but true, that both these men are in the top 12% of all golfers in New Zealand. These men have, and continue to live lives.
