Angel of the North

After a lovely evening of good food, wine and company we left Dotty and co to go off to the seaside whilst we went orienteering again. This time a long race on Ray Desmesne. After having a cold for a week I was not looking forward to a tough 10k over heather moorland, but the weather was glorious and I think I benefited from a couple of measures of Dotty's famous elderflower elixir :)

It was tough going but I completed the course and was still running by the end.

We stopped off at the Angel on the way back home.
