Bursts of Spring

After a very enjoyable but very late night at friends' yesterday, I was feeling a bit sleepy this morning.

Later this morning I had a visit from a workmate who was just out of hospital with a serious condition, so it was great to see him on the mend. Otherwise it was a reasonably quiet day - gardening, walking and relaxing. Lovely.

I find it amazing how this beautiful primula can thrive in such poor stoney soil.
