Blank Canvas

Spent hours some time today clearing out this flowerbed. It had become unsatisfactory, full of an eclectic mix of plants (bits of everything!) and having suffered some casualties over the winter. So I set to with the garden tools and cleared the whole lot (bar the cherry tree). I have kept the best of the original inhabitants for possible re-use although I suspect there will be a visit or two to the garden centres for some fresh stuff to fill the spaces.
