Step 1. Paint your blackboard.

I was conned flattered into agreeing to do a lighting workshop for some LIP members. I am doing a test one at home tomorrow for 4 or 5 people.


Yesterday's blip was indeed a light, or rather the cover/diffuser for an inset outdoor wall light. We wanted something low-key for these lights but couldn't find anything so we got crude ones that sit within the wall and cut A4-sized pieces of white-painted ply that are supported with brackets about 3 inches away from them. At the moment they're on the blink so I cannot do a pic to explain, but here's an old one before the garden started growing...
