Reflection

Another reflection today, I took the most enormous floating mat of flags out of the pond yesterday.

It was a real struggle to get them out and on the edge of it.

Today the water had cleared and you could see the newts flitting about

Sadly no newts are visible in this blip

The reflection is of the pergola that divides the garden almost exactly in half - something you'd avoid doing normally but it works in this case because the two halves are further divided

It makes the garden feel less like a runway and more like "rooms" so beloved of garden designers
