March is maple syrup month throughout the country, and Michigan ranks 6th in the states for maple syrup production. So before they pulled the buckets I went to get some photos.

The nature center does a nice job of showing the various ways maple syrup was made and it's a popular destination for school groups.

On the way back, I passed a large group of tree trimmers and found one man taking a smoke break in a platform in the back of his truck. I might have blipped him another day but had my sugar shack blip planned.
