Another shoe related blip!

At work today I got a call from the reception downstairs saying "someone's dropped off a pair of boots for you."

Thinking I'd either heard wrongly and they meant books, or that someone had decided to send me a present, some lovely boots, I jumped off my chair and down to the reception to get them.

Bemused, I was met with a pair of size nine walking boots. I'm a 4. Anyway, they were elastic banded up so I took them back up to the office, quite confused. Opened the box, and disappointingly found a pile of leaflets to be put in delegate packs for an event we're having on Thursday.

Amused!
