Old Works Chimney Inspection.....

Guess where I've been today, 60ft in the air inspecting our old works kiln chimney for Bat's, not Cricket bats but flying bats. An inspection had to be done to check if any roosting or Hibernating bats were in this old chimney, we have to do this by law to prevent any being killed when we demolish it.

I am glad to say neither me or the bat inspector, yes there is a real Batman and he had a side kick "Robin", well really it was his wife.
We hired in a large cherry picker and went up to the top and surveyed our decrepit chimney, and as you can see it's well bu****d at the top. We couldn't see any signs of life, but "Batman" and "Robin" sent a video camera down the inside and recorded every inch of the chimney, and after a long external inspection declared it a bat free zone, and we can knock it down in March.
