Tapioca

I went to the same street market as the other day. It is one of my favorite places to photograph. This nice fellow works on a tapioca stand. Tapioca in Brazil is not the same thing as in English. It is not a pudding, it is like a pancake or a crepe made with the starch of the manioc. You press the starch in a frying pan making a disk and fill it with all kinds of food, like coconut, butter, cheese or condensed milk. Trust me it is delicious.

P.S. The main reason I decided to blip this shot is that I am becoming more confident on talk to people in order to take pictures of them. It may seem silly, but I am terribly shy for this kind of thing.
