Clarity

There's been a lot of debate about Clarity, a new feature of the iPhone camera app Camera+. Essentially, it makes a bunch of corrections to your photo, as shown above. The promotional video that was released alongside the update is also a little melodramatic.

In terms of mobile photography, I think it's absolutely brilliant. I take photos on my phone because it's quicker and more inconvenient that lugging my DSLR around and setting up a shot, so having this feature just adds to this efficiency.

Clarity does seem to make photos a little noisier, but does make a huge difference to an otherwise drab shot in just one click.
