Anyway, this poor dude was up on the roof fixing a new satellite in the (and here I'm using the official meteorological term) Pishing Rain and I thought to myself I bet he doesn't get up in the morning and thinks "Still Living The Dream". Unless his dreams are all horrid and involve standing on wee ledges 20 metres up in the air.

So, it rained here for the first time in about 3 weeks. That was quite good because it made the place smell a lot like spring. If green could smell of something then it would smell like today.

In other news, today was a day spent doing more language work. I'm horribly aware of my limitations in respect of grammar but I'm trying and some of what I say actually makes sense. I have to stop trying to translate literally from Englisch into German - you just end up talking rubbish that way. One thing I have noticed though is that I now count in German. Getting there.
