Crocodile

While not a great photo our resident beach crocodile has proven to be pretty shy over the course of the past three months, so I'll take what I can get. He (not actually sure he is a he, could be a she) lives in a lagoon that empties into Zihuatanejo Bay at the south end of Playa La Ropa. There are actually two crocodiles who reside in the lagoon. There is fence across the lagoon, but on more than one occasion on our morning walks we have seen his tracks heading to and from the ocean. Fortunately tracks are all we have ever seen outside the fence.
