Brookside Close

My new job is in the town my father and his family grew up and mostly still live, taking me past a lot of things I used to see driving to family gatherings as a child.

I was told, when I was young, that this was the street british soap "brookside" was filmed on. I never really questioned it, I mean I never really watched it so I thought that was kind of nice that we saw it each time we went to see Grandad.

Of course I found out later that this wasn't the case, now whenever I drive past I notice it and smile...

And besides- they have a callbox and a mailbox in their front garden wtf?!
