Beef Dinner

Last year I was given a butchery experience for my birthday. On Wednesday last I attended a class that taught us students some of the basics of preparing meat and tonight I ate the first of the pieces of beef that I left with. I really enjoyed the course - although it was much much physical than I had imagined - but, I have to admit, I enjoyed eating the food even more. The supplied recipes called for a Guinness sauce and the result was tender and delicious. I'm very much looking forward to the next ones.

It's just a shame that the picture doesn't do the food justice.
