Valentine

Yesterday I posted about how it makes a difference to listen.
Today I learned that kids listen to you too. (Well, I already knew this, but unfortunately sometimes forget.)
Some of my boys were talking yesterday about various girls and Valentine's gifts. They were commenting on how one girl they knew was demanding gifts. I of course launched into teacher lecture/mother hen mode, and said they should not date any girl who only cared about what they could buy her. I said that I thought home made gifts were best.
One of the boys came in today with this card and a box of chocolates.
It made my day.
