learning the slopes

When skiing with snowboarders you very quickly get used to them having a 'sit-down'.

Much of the first day was spent orientating ourselves, learning the slopes, breaking in our snow legs, finding the best vin chaud and trying not to break anything.
We scored 5/5.
We were a little smug.

And horrifically tired.
