Grain elevator

DH went fearlessly forth to Cowdenbeath to view the football (and to catch up with the latest from parsfan!).

Meanwhile, Q came down to Leith for a wee visit on his last day in Auld Reekie before heading home later this afternoon, and we had a cuppa with Malc and the mighty Stan. Then I took Q round to the Vaults for a spot of lunch (and a dram - how could we not?) before a brief stroll around Leith. It was sunny (as is the correct condition for Leith) and we went as far as the Swing Bridge - when the historic (grade B listed, you know) grain elevator caught my eye. Goodness me, it is a large and unlovely thing, but not nearly as large and unlovely as what Forth Ports have in mind to replace it. First we heard was probably back last year, but quite a stramash has built up since. (It is a timely reminder that the prefix "bio-" is not equivalent to the prefix "eco-".)

And the Pars won - hurray!
