Putting your body in the line of defence!

When it comes to football and the strikers through on goal the last thing gasp rest is just to chuck your body infront of the ball and pray it blocks the ball... without hitting your arms!!!

The Cowdenbeath player indeed saved a great goal scoring opportunity, however in the game itself they couldn't stop the pars winning comfortably 1-0. Only a few games to go and its going to be one hell of a nervy finish!!!

Tomorrow i`m off to photograph the Edinburgh Derby at East Road, which will be fun :)

Took lots of very arty shots today, close ups of the ball, players boots etc, but you cant beat a but of full on action ;)
